Greektown Casino Hits
Players In the Stomach

DETROIT, MI - The Greektown Casino knows that the way to a player's heart is through their stomachs.

The newest Detroit-casino is serving its players complimentary fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies to guests four times a day, at 10 am, noon, 2 pm and 4 pm.

In addition, Fishbone's Rhythm Kitchen Cafe, one of Michigan's most popular restaurants, is now part of Greektown Casino's complimentary meal program.

Fishbone's Greektown location at 400 Monroe becomes the fifth restaurant where CLUB Greektown members can redeem points for complimentary meals. CLUB Greektown is the casino's slot club, which anyone can join for free.

Fishbone's specializes in Cajun cuisine such as Alligator Voodoo, Hellfire Cheese, jambalaya and more. Fishbone's is across Beaubien Street from the casino's west entrance.

The addition of Fishbone's to Greektown Casino's "family'' of restaurants creates greater energy throughout Greektown, where visitors can enjoy the casino, visit one of many restaurants or nightclubs and experience the coffee shops and bakeries of Detroit's favorite entertainment district.

Other restaurants that are part of Greektown Casino's comp program are: The Alley Grille, a new steakhouse located on Greektown Casino's mezzanine level. Pegasus Taverna and the Olympia.

Trapper's Lounge and Snack Bar, located on the casino's upper level inside Trapper's Alley. Guests can get a quick hot dog, sandwich or salad, then get back to the gaming action.

Greektown Casino is also handing out warm, moist towels to guests in the Pantheon Club and Pantheon Slots areas.

PORTERVILLE, CA - Eagle Mountain Casino was the site for celebration as Bakerfield resident Cindy Trevino hit the magic combination on a 25 cent Betty Boop Thrillions slot machine February 16. Cindy turned 23 years old on Saturday the 17th. The actual jackpot amount of $227,285.95 was verified and the check issued on Cindy's birthday. Miss Trevino, who has been a regular visitor at Eagle Mountain Casino, says she plans to pay off her car and other bills, and to move her wedding date up one year.

PALM DESERT, CA - An anonymous Palm Desert business man waiting out a traffic jam near the Fantasy Springs Casino won the casino's first ever Wheel of Fortune® dollar MegaJackpot(TM), approximately a half million dollars on February 16.

On his way to a meeting, the lucky winner became frustrated by gridlock from the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic golf tournament. So, he decided to do the next best thing -- enjoy a few minutes at the Fantasy Springs Casino.

Playing the first Wheel of Fortune® game inside the door, he accumulated $318 in winnings within 20 minutes of play. At that point, he was about to walk away from the game but decided on one last play. With his final push of the button, he won a MegaJackpot(TM) worth $585,655.

Because this was the first time the anonymous winner had ever struck it rich, he thought something must have gone wrong when the buzzer rang and the neon light began to flash.

The surprised and happy winner plans to pay off some outstanding debts and, perhaps, take a trip. It's certainly one traffic jam he'll always remember.
