World Poker Tour 7 Card Stud

Press Release

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Hands-On Mobile, a leading global publisher and developer of mobile games, lifestyle, and personalization products, announced today that World Poker Tour® (WPT™) 7 Card Stud is now available for North American mobile phone users.

WPT 7 Card Stud is the newest release from the makers of the No. 1 mobile poker title on the market, WPT Texas Hold 'Em. In this latest WPT game, players have the option of testing their skills against world-class artificial intelligence or competing online against live players as they bluff, bully or bust out. WPT 7 Card Stud is the only Stud game approved and tested by the pros at WPT, creating a fun and authentic experience.

"Hands-On Mobile is once again at the final table with our new Stud mobile game," says Paul Baldwin, Vice President, Marketing, Hands-On Mobile. "With this WPT title, Hands-On is dealing poker fans a fresh, interactive 7 Card Stud experience while maintaining the WPT brand dominance in the market."

WPT 7 Card Stud brings many unique and revolutionary features to the table, including:

Advanced AI is showcased by a collection of "Tournament Regulars," each displaying a distinct playing style.

In-game chat lets players make friends online or just smack-talk to build a player's "table image" during live multiplayer games.

The online leaderboard allows participants to scope out the competition by checking out their own position and earnings, as well as the positions of the players immediately surrounding them.

Skill-based tables determine the stakes of the game and ensure that advanced players compete against each other, while new players can learn the game at stakes that are a better fit for their starting bankroll.

Regular online tournaments let participants compete in live tournament action against players from around the world. Tournaments are single table, "shootout"-style events, with the top finishers from each table placing in the money.

Hands-On Mobile is supporting the WPT brand with a multi-faceted marketing campaign, including print, online, transit and outdoor advertising. Hands-On will also conduct co-marketing programs with WPT Enterprises, Inc. (WPTE).

"We are reaching poker fans wherever they are—as they commute to and from work, read their favorite magazine, browse online, or even as they enjoy a night out with friends at their local bar," commented Baldwin.

According to Telephia, nearly 13.5 million wireless subscribers download mobile games with quarterly mobile game download revenue reaching $141 million in Q2 2006. Hands-On Mobile secured a No. 1 ranking among all mobile poker games with its initial poker title, WPT Texas Hold 'Em and an 8.2 percent market share for total publisher revenues for Q2 2006.

"After witnessing the incredible success of the WPT Texas Hold 'Em title, we are thrilled to launch another exciting World Poker Tour game for the mobile gaming market," says Andrea Green, Vice President, WPTE Global Consumer Products. Tribal casino games could change
As reported by The Baraboo News Republic

"Ho-Chunk Nation spokesperson Katie Matha said the law could affect bingo, poker rooms and some slot machines at the Nation's various casinos and gaming facilities, including the large Ho-Chunk Casino north of Baraboo. She said the entire operation at the Nation's De Jope gaming facility in Madison is comprised of Class II machines.

"…The proposed changes come on the heels of a half-dozen appeals court cases lost by the U.S. Justice Department in which government lawyers argued that Class II machines - which allow players to participate in a national network of bingo machines and high-stake payouts - are really Class III, Las Vegas-style slot machines.

"The NIGC's proposed regulatory changes reflect an ongoing jurisdictional conflict between tribes and state officials who each seek greater control of gambling…"

Hundreds attend Pennsylvania
slots hearing
As reported by The Hanover Evening Sun

PENNSYLVANIA – "An estimated 300 people – the largest crowd for any of 13 licensing hearings on Pennsylvania slots plans – packed the auditorium of the State Museum in Harrisburg for a hearing on a Gettysburg-area slots plan.

"The Gaming Control Board, which will award the slots licenses, noticed the turnout, board spokesman Doug Harbach said.

"And the big crowd shows the proposed Crossroads Gaming Resort and Spa – more than any other slots plan – has significant numbers of supporters and opponents, he said.

"…Two busloads of casino backers came to the hearing from Gettysburg. Many belong to the local grassroots group Pro Casino Adams County and some have union affiliations.

"…Some critics belong to the local group No Casino Gettysburg while others belong to historic-preservation groups…"
