Eagle Mountain Casino Opens New Bingo Hall
- A new bingo facility located adjacent to the Eagle
Mountain Casino, CA, on the Tule River Indian Reservation
opened its doors September 28, 2000. Bingo is called each
Thursday through Sunday. Doors open at 5:00 pm each evening
for the Early Bird session, which starts at 6:15 pm. The
main session starts at 7:00 pm. Each session will have
potential payouts of up to $6,600, not including progressive
jackpots. A new snack bar is located inside the Bingo
Hall and will be open during each Bingo session.
Santa
Fe Station to Operate Under Station Casinos - The
Nevada Gaming Control Board granted approval on
September 13 for
Station Casinos, Inc. to own and operate Santa
Fe Station Hotel & Casino .The
company is expected to begin operating Santa Fe Station
on October 2, 2000. Station Casinos plans to renovate
and refurnish the casino floor, all existing restaurants,
and other common areas. In addition, approximately 800
new slot machines will be added or exchanged, increasing
the property's gaming capacity to approximately 2,100
machines.

Isle of Capri Completes
Purchase of the Lady Luck Casino in Las Vegas
- Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. announced September 12 that
it had completed the acquisition of the Lady
Luck Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. The property will
maintain the Lady Luck name, which was purchased by the
company with the acquisition of Lady Luck Gaming Corporation
in early March 2000. Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. owns
and operates thirteen riverboat, dockside and land-based
casinos at twelve locations, including Biloxi,
Vicksburg,
Tunica,
Lula,
and Natchez,
Mississippi; Bossier
City and Lake
Charles, Louisiana; Black
Hawk, Colorado; Bettendorf
and Marquette, Iowa; Kansas City, Missouri; and Las Vegas,
Nevada.
