CRIPPLE CREEK, CO -- Century Casinos, Inc. announced Cotober 23 the successful opening of its second shipboard casino out of four to be installed on the luxurious Silversea cruise vessels. The 40-gaming position casino is open for business on the 296-passenger Silver Cloud which departed Istanbul, Turkey on Saturday and is currently cruising in the Mediterranean. Century has an exclusive, five-year concession agreement with Silversea Cruises to install and operate casinos aboard all four Silversea cruise vessels. The Company is now operating casinos on two vessels -- the Silver Cloud and the new 388-passenger Silver Shadow -- and has scheduled its third shipboard casino installation in approximately two weeks on the Silver Wind. The fourth casino will be installed aboard the new Silver Whisper, scheduled for completion in July, 2001. Century Casinos owns and operates Womacks Casino in Cripple Creek, Colorado; jointly owns and operates The Caledon Casino Hotel & Spa near Capetown, South Africa; has a five-year casino concession to operate four casinos aboard the ultra-luxury Silversea cruise vessels; and manages the Millennium Casino in the new Marriott Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. |
