TORONTO, CANADA - A Toronto woman upgraded Christmas gifts for her family after winning more than $1.8 million from a slot machine on Dec. 23rd.

The married mother of three said she got the "best Christmas present of her life" when she won more than $1.8 million playing a slot machine at Casino Rama near Orillia in Canada.

The new millionaire, 50, who asked that her name not be released, had been in the casino less than an hour when she decided to play one of the casino's 24 Megabucks slot machines. After betting $4, she hit the $1,846,307 jackpot at about 4.30 p.m.

The Scarborough woman said she plans to pay off her mortgage, shop for a bigger home, and buy new Christmas gifts for her kids, who range in age from late teens to a preschooler.
