and Atrium Nite Clubs will have added attractions and expanded
schedules.
In addition
to the new construction the casino is kicking off Foxwoods Resort
Casino will celebrate its 9th Anniversary by introducing a creative
and exciting new two tiered promotion that will run from January
3 until February 28, 2001. One promotion will offer patrons a
chance to cash and prizes totaling $400,000..
Drawings will
be made at 8 p.m. every Wednesday during the promotion period,
on January 10, 17, 24, 31, and February 7, 14, 21 and 28. The
names of winners will be announced and posted throughout Foxwoods
during the entire promotion.
If the winner
is present and gets to Sweepstakes Headquarters within 15 minutes
of the winning announcement on the drawing night, they also will
win $2,000 worth of Gulf gasoline prepaid gas cards.
The second
tier of the promotion features a direct mail piece that contains
57 personalized daily, dated entries with a name, Wampum Club
Card number and date. Entrants can deposit the pieces in drums
at Foxwoods each day. Every night at Midnight, 100 entries will
be pulled and the drums emptied for that date. The 100 people
selected will be notified by mail that they are semi-finalists
in a 9th Anniversary Celebration drawing for $99,000 on March
4, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fox Theater at Foxwoods.
The
5,700 semi-finalists will need to return to Foxwoods to pick up
their ticket for the final $99,000 drawing, which will offer 9
cash prizes with a top prize of $50,000.
