Windsor man wins over $4 million

WINDSOR, Ont. - Lady Luck smiled on a Windsor, Ont., man Saturday morning.

Casino Windsor officials said a man won $4.5 million on a MegaBucks slot machine. Casino spokeswoman Holly Ward said that the high jackpot had been drawing a lot of attention from gamblers. Ward said the man left a blackjack table to play the $1 slot machine because of the buzz on the floor.

"(The man) just thought he would try it ... and it went off," said Ward. "There was lots of screaming and lights and bells and it was very exciting."

Officials said his win was the largest in Casino Windsor history - and the second largest MegaBucks win in the Ontario.
