Texas Man Wins $2.4 Million

LAS VEGAS -- Henry Hernandez says that the Venetian was his favorite Las Vegas resort before he hit it big there early Sunday morning, winning $2.4 million on Wheel of Fortune® dollars. "When we first came to Las Vegas, we fell in love with the Venetian and now we try to come every year," he said.

The 51 year old retired production technician from Amarillo, Tex. said that he had planned "an all-nighter" devoted to playing slot machines and that he had been shooting for a bonus but never dreamed he'd win the multimillion dollar MegaJackpots(TM) prize. He said that it was a dream come true and a great feeling.

"I want to help my parents and will give some to my church, and with the rest of the money? Well, we have a great life now but this will make it even better," Hernandez said, grinning from ear to ear.
