$40,000 Jackpot Winner at Saratoga Gaming and Raceway SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Saratoga Gaming and Raceway awarded the largest video gaming jackpot payment in New York State of $40,000 to Mr. Moe Sukljian of Loudenville, NY. The lucky winner hit the $40,000 jackpot by getting three diamonds in a row on a $10 Triple Diamond video gaming machine (VGM). This is the largest jackpot that any of the three operational gaming facilities in New York State has awarded since the inception of video gaming. "I thought those bigger numbers were just for print, that no one actually hit them," said Sukljian. When asked what he'll do with his jackpot award, Sukljian said that currently he has "no big plans" for the money. A previous winner of $6,400, Sukljian says that he likes to come to Saratoga Gaming and Raceway because "it's different and fun." He also likes that fact that the property is close to his home. "It is wonderful to be able to award a jackpot of this large a size to one of our patrons," said Jamie Hartman, Saratoga Gaming and Raceway General Manager. "We pride ourselves on providing our guests with the best state-of-the-art games in the industry and to have one of our patrons hit a $40,000 jackpot is phenomenal," |
