As part of the overall Rainmaker expansion at Foxwoods, this 3,700 square foot store becomes the largest retail outlet at Foxwoods and drives the player incentive program to new levels. The new store features well respected brand names such as Sony, Panasonic, Lenox, Nikon, Vespa, T-Fal, Dell, Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, Craftsman, John Deere and more. It also offers its customers the ability to purchase gift cards from major retailers such as, Lowes, Raymour & Flanagan, Mobil/Exxon and Citgo.

Regis Philbin and Susan Lucci were on hand to officially open the store. Giveaways included Regis' newly released CD, "When You're Smiling," two selections from Susan's line of perfume, as well as some special Foxwoods giveaways. Regis and Susan headlined in a sold-out performance on Saturday evening at Foxwoods' famed Fox Theatre.

The Wampum Rewards Mega Store is part of the new Foxwoods, where Wampum Rewards card members can use Wampum Rewards points or cash to purchase items at the store or any of these new stores including Scenses, Storytellers and Satchels feature name brand items such as Tommy Bahama, Dior, Gucci, Fossil, Movado, Tag Heuer, Yankee Candle, Dooney & Bourke, Crabtree & Evelyn, Maxx NY, and more.

The new Wampum Rewards incentive program further enables players to create shopping lists online, enjoy ease of choosing items at home or in the store online, and visiting the store website for a vast selection of products. This enhances the overall Wampum Rewards program, where points can be used for dining, accommodations, spa services and retail throughout the property.

"We are pleased to be able to offer our customers this unique and value- added retail facet to the retail experience at Foxwoods," said Bill Sherlock, president and CEO of Foxwoods Resort Casino. "This is just the beginning of a whole new phase of retail options and we will continue to build equity with recognizable, high quality brand names and to pass that value onto our customers."

Primed to impress from the moment guests drive into the resort, Foxwoods' visitors enter a brand new seven-story, 2,100 space parking garage with direct access to the new Rainmaker Casino. Patrons are only minutes away from 750 new slot machines, bringing the total to over 7,400 slot machines on property. Patrons will walk by glass enclosed cases of famous Hard Rock memorabilia lined by stone columns, flanking glass enclosed concourses, continuing the Foxwoods tradition of bringing the vibrant outdoors atmosphere inside the facility.

In addition, the new Foxwoods expansion also features compelling new food & beverage including the Carnegie Deli and Nathan's. Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated Foxwoods' golf course, the 36-hole Lake of Isles elite golf course, is set to open next year. Designed by renowned architect Rees Jones, the breathtaking 50,000-square-foot clubhouse with the championship-caliber courses will be ready to tee it up next spring. The significant investment further solidifies Foxwoods as the preeminent casino in the Northeast and reinforces Foxwoods' position as a resort destination and total experience.

Borgata to Receive Top Honor at Gaming & Technology Conference 6.0

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- The producers of the annual Gaming & Technology Conference announced today that the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is the recipient of the 3rd Annual Larry Cole Award For Excellence and Innovation in Gaming Technology.

The company will be honored Nov. 9 at Gaming & Technology Conference 6.0 at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

Borgata CEO Robert Boughner said: "The manner in which we developed our technology portfolio at Borgata emphasizes every aspect of our business ranging from the development and construction of the property, to an aggressive recruitment effort, to the daily operation of the property. High performing technology is a competitive advantage that we enjoy and supports the delivery of our customer service experience. We are proud to accept The Larry Cole Award as it validates our IT strategy."

David Farlin, Vice President of Information Technology, said: "We started with an aggressive plan for Borgata and the technology necessary to support it. I'm honored to be receiving this award in recognition of executing and delivering on our promise for technology. It honors the vision, innovation and effort that has been extended; not only by our fine IT staff but also that of our regulators, vendors, partners and even Larry Cole himself."

Cole, among the first casino executives to head an information technology department, pioneered a player-tracking and loyalty program still in place at casinos around the world. He was president of Advanced Casino Systems Corp. until its sale to Bally Gaming & Systems. Cole, who died in 2002, posthumously received the first award.

The forum, established as the first gaming conference to focus on technology issues, allows industry leaders, regulators and suppliers to discuss how technology is shaping the future of the casino floor, and how the industry must respond.

Global Gaming Business Magazine will present the 2nd Annual Gaming and Technology Awards for consumer-service technology, productivity-enhancement technology and slot products.

Discussions will focus on numerous issues, including the impact of industry consolidation on technology, the changing role of regulators and "Slot or Not? VLTs, Class II Games & Central Systems."

Conference producers are: Spectrum Gaming Group, which publishes Michael Pollock's Gaming Industry Observer, an award-winning newsletter; Morowitz Gaming Advisors, LLC, providing financial and operations analysis for the hospitality industry; and leading gaming law firm Fox Rothschild.

Aristocrat Technologies and Bally Gaming & Systems are co-presenting sponsors.
