Hi, Frank:
When tipping
the dealers on the craps table, which bet do they prefer you make for
them?
Thanks,
Brian
Dear Brian:
The best tip is the best bet! So put a chip next to
your Pass Line bet because the dealers have a much better chance to
win this bet than any other bet in the game. You can also put it on
top of your Pass Line bet and tell the dealers that the top chip is
for them. This way you can win two, three or more bets for them in a
row if a shooter gets hot. If you tip to the side the house usually
takes the win and the original tip. You can also tell the boxman that
you control all tips, which means they won't take down the bet unless
you allow them to.
I am a strong advocate of tipping good dealers. So who
is a good dealer? Two qualities shine brightly - professionalism and
friendliness. Those two ingredients make the game more pleasurable for
the players and the dealers should be rewarded for them. I am a tipper.
By the way, if I am at a table with disagreeable dealers
or box people or floor personnel, I leave and go to a different casino.
I am giving you a free one-month subscription to my
private web site at www.goldentouchcraps.com. That's a nice tip for
you!
All the best in and out of the casinos!
