Greyhound Increases Schedules To Atlantic City Casinos

DALLAS, TX - Greyhound Lines, Inc. increased its Lucky Streak casino service to take more passengers from New York City and Philadelphia to Atlantic City casinos, starting June 27.

Due to an increase in demand, customers traveling from New York City can now choose from 37 daily schedules Monday-Thursday, and up to 65 schedules Friday-Sunday. Buses leave every 15 minutes on Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., and hourly on Sunday from 12:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Philadelphia residents can now choose from 20 daily schedules to Atlantic City casinos.

"One of the most attractive features of this express service is the 'open return' policy for passengers, allowing them to extend their stay overnight in Atlantic City, and return on one of our many schedules back to New York City or Philadelphia without an additional cost,'' said Nate Karp, director of casino markets at Greyhound Lines, Inc. "Casinos frequently offer their patrons a complimentary hotel room, so it's a sensible solution to go Greyhound, where there is no charge to change your trip itinerary.''

The open return is based on the purchase of a round-trip fare. Greyhound runs the Atlantic City service schedule year-round with direct service to the Atlantic City Hilton, Bally's Atlantic City, Claridge, Caesars, Sands, Showboat, Trump Plaza, Taj Mahal and Tropicana.

Greyhound, a North American provider of intercity bus transportation, services more than 3,700 destinations with 20,000 daily departures across the continent. The company also provides charters, vacations and sightseeing packages, as well as package and courier express service and food service at some terminals.
