ONTARIO, CANADA - A lucky Grimsby woman stunned Casino Niagara patrons on July 7 with one pull of a slot arm, winning more than $1.3 million. Pam Fowler, 37, a construction company manager, and her boyfriend Don, decided to try their luck at the new Megabucks slot machine that arrived on the gaming floor only 19 days ago. Fowler explained that she inserted a $100 bill, played a few credits, and then the lights when on. "I then thought I had something good here!'' Still in a daze, Fowler said she could hear voices behind her saying she won the million. "My hands were shaking and my head was pounding!'' Having just returned from an Alaskan cruise, Fowler, who has an 11-year-old daughter, says she will put some of her winnings towards a Mediterranean cruise next Fall. Fowler's win is the largest ever slot jackpot in Ontario.
