Labor Day Rooftop Party

A traditional Americana celebration is on tap at Harveys Resort & Casino at Lake Tahoe this Labor Day as the casino resort hosts its annual Rooftop Party on Sunday, September 2.

The Labor Day Rooftop Party includes all the key components for a good time: live entertainment, dancing, plenty of good food and the area's best view of the spectacular fireworks extravaganza.

A Labor Day party isn't complete without a good old-fashioned barbeque. The Rooftop Party menu will feature barbequed ribs, grilled chicken breasts, corn on the cob, potato and macaroni salad, dinner rolls, and assorted cooks and brownies. One-trip through the buffet and two drink coupons are included with ticket purchases.

Partygoers will enjoy the Davis Clark Band - comprised of John Dengate, Marla Major, Kevin Clark and Don Chiles - which entertain crowds with its classic rock and rhythm and blues sounds. In addition to live music and dancing, the Rooftop Party provides revelers with a scenic view of the Labor Day Lake Tahoe fireworks display.

The Labor Day Rooftop Party is set for Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001. Tickets are $25 per person in advance, $30 day of the event. Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Harrah's Box Office by calling 1-800-HARRAHS or at the Harveys Box Office by calling 1-800-HARVEYS. The party will start at 6:30 p.m. with the fireworks scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Tickets are general admission and do not offer a refund or exchange policy.

An adult over 21 years of age must accompany all minors. All guests can access the party from the Guest Garage Elevators/Ground Level at Harveys.
