LAS VEGAS - John and Nancy Lewis from North Fort Myers, FL, were playing a $25 Double Diamond reel slot machine at Riviera Hotel Casino when they hit a $16,000 jackpot on January 13.

LAS VEGAS - Dwight Spray of Texas won $40,000 playing a $25 Triple Diamond slot at Harrah's Las Vegas Hotel Casino on January 12. He was very excited and said he plans to put the money in a fund for his children's education.

LAS VEGAS - A Hawaiian visitor only had time to check into the California Hotel Casino in downtown Las Vegas and have dinner before she hit the MegaJackpot(TM) on Wheel of Fortune(R) quarters the evening of Jan. 11 to the tune of $3.7 million. This is the second MegaJackpots millionaire for the California in two months. The previous winner was also a tourist from Hawaii. Hideko Sakamoto said she had played less than $20 in the machine before the three logos lined up. Her husband, Richard, was reluctant to leave a hot craps table until he heard just how much his wife had won. "We're still in shock," he said.
