LAS VEGAS - A 28-year old conventioneer from the Chicago area won $1.9 million on Wheel of Fortune® quarters on Jan 28 at Mandalay Bay Resort Casino. Timothy Tuttle had only just arrived in Las Vegas to attend a Cingular Wireless convention when a friend asked him to come along to play slots. Tuttle said he had invested about $30 when the three Wheel of Fortune® logos lined up. He thought he had won 2,000 quarters until a passerby explained that he had won the MegaJackpots(TM) progressive. "I don't play slot machines very much so I wasn't sure what was going on,'' he said. "And when they told me I had won almost $2 million, I couldn't believe it. In fact, I still don't believe it.'' He says he has no plans to leave his job as a district sales manager for the wireless phone company and had never even fantasized about what he'd do with a million dollars. "I thought I'd never win so I don't have any plans,'' Tuttle said. "The only thing I can think of is to send my parents on a dream vacation.''
