ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - A beverage server at an Atlantic City hotel casino 'got the biggest tip of her life' after winning $523,550.47 while playing a Jeopardy! progressive slot machine at Harrah's Atlantic City.

Maria L. Cruz, 41, was playing the 25-cent slot machine for approximately 15 minutes before hitting the $523,550.47 jackpot. The Galloway Township, New Jersey, resident, who lined up three Jeopardy! jackpot symbols, will receive $26,177.52 for the next 20 years.

A Harrah's Total Rewards Platinum player, Maria was visiting the property with a friend and invested approximately $20 in the machine. "When I realized that I won, we started to jump up and down," Maria said. "I usually play nickel slots; however, a friend of mine recently won on a Jeopardy! machine and so I thought that I should give it a try," she added.

The lucky winner who plans to put a down payment on a house, will share the winnings with her family including her 20-year-old daughter and one-year-old granddaughter. In addition, she plans to help pay for the October wedding of her friend.
