announced the results of its 2003 "Michigan's Best"
readers' poll today. In addition to being named "Best Casino,"

Casino also placed first in other categories, including
"Best Slots," "Best Wait Staff Outfits,"
"Best Craps Tables," "Best Blackjack Tables,"
"Best High Rollers Area," "Best Casino Crowd,"
"Best Casino Restaurant," "Best Casino Decor,"
"Best Casino with Quickest Valet," and "Best

Cruises' Insignia Opens
CRIPPLE
CREEK,CO - Century Casinos, Inc. announced the successful
opening Saturday, April 19, of its casino aboard the Insignia,
the luxurious, 684 passenger cruise ship operated by Oceania
Cruises. The casino features 36 slot machines and 5 gaming
tables.
The Insignia, the first of two cruise liners operated
by Oceania, commenced operations Saturday from Marseilles
to various destinations around the Western Mediterranean
until the end of September 2003 and will then resume operations
in May 2004. The second vessel, the Regatta is scheduled
for launch in July, 2003. Century Casinos will also operate
the casino aboard the Regatta and has the first right
of refusal for casinos aboard any new ships that Oceania
may bring into service, pursuant to a long term casino
concession agreement.
The
Company also reported that through its wholly owned Austrian
subsidiary, Century Management u. Beteiligungs GmbH, it
has completed the previously reported 10% ownership stake
in Casino
Millennium a.s., the company operating the casino
in the Marriott Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. This
transaction is the first step to complete an agreement
to purchase 50% of Casino
Millennium. Total contribution from the Company for
the 50% stake will amount to $1,088,000, including cash,
gaming equipment and advances for original pre-opening
costs.
