Isle of Capri Opens
New Casino in Boonville

BOONVILLE, MO - In the midst of one of the most challenging times for the entertainment and hospitality industry, Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. announced on December 6 the opening of its newest $75 million, 72,000-square-foot casino facility in Boonville, Missouri.

A faltering economy and fear of air travel have had adverse effects on the travel and gaming industry, creating a ripple effect that has caused several casinos to postpone projects. One exception is Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. - the gaming company that is beating the odds at every turn.

Like all Isle of Capri Casinos, the Boonville facility is strategically located in a drive-in market and offers patrons the regional flexibility to access its operations without traveling by air. The company caters to a strong regional client base.

The new Boonville Casino will serve as an economic stimulus to the Boonville community, bringing more than 800 jobs to the area. The casino features 900 slot machines and 28 gaming tables. The dockside casino also offers three signature restaurants and touts its Isle

Style tropical decor, hospitality and exceptional guest service. The 72,000-square-foot property is the 14th casino to be launched in the United States by the company.

Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. owns and operates 15 riverboat, dockside and land-based casinos at 14 locations including Biloxi, Vicksburg, Tunica, Lula and Natchez, Mississippi; Bossier City and Lake Charles (two riverboats), Louisiana; Black Hawk, Colorado; Bettendorf, Davenport and Marquette, Iowa; Kansas City and Boonville, Missouri; and Las Vegas, Nevada. The company also operates Pompano Park Harness Racing Track in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Chehalis Tribes Break Ground on Casino Expansion

ROCHESTER, WA - The Chehalis Tribes broke ground last week on a 15,000-square-foot addition to the Lucky Eagle Casino. The addition will house a new Event Center and Bingo Hall, and will greatly enhance the facilities of the existing 50,000 square foot casino opened in 1995.

The multi-faceted renovation will feature one of the largest "Las Vegas-style'' buffet restaurants in the northwest. The buffet will seat 300 diners, and will include several "action stations'' where food will be prepared to order. In addition, an intimate, upscale dining room will offer steaks, seafood, chops and the Lucky Eagle Casino's signature Prime Rib, which will be cut to order at the tables.

The renovation will greatly enhance the casino's banquet and entertainment facilities as well. Six new banquet/party rooms are included in the plan, with a total capacity of 800 guests. A high energy 150 seat "Cabaret Lounge'' will feature its own fare, with a menu ranging from gourmet burgers to shrimp and seafood platters.

The project is expected to have minimal impact on existing operations of the casino.

The Lucky Eagle Casino is currently one of the largest employers in the south Puget Sound area. Upon completion of the new addition, over 500 people will work at the casino.

The Lucky Eagle Casino is located off Highway 12 in Rochester, Washington. Featured games include Video Slot Machines (largest variety and highest payout rates in the northwest), Video Poker, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Bingo, Keno and Big Six. The casino also hosts a wide range of special events, including live professional boxing, concerts, comedy shows and more.
